About Tsoaxaub

We Have Been Mining
in Namibia Since 1968

Historic production at Tsoaxaub dates to 1968. Over five decades of site knowledge underpin today's JORC-compliant resource estimates. The modern operation was restarted in 2019 with sublevel retreat open stope mining and a newly built flotation plant, reaching 19,000 ore tonnes per month before care and maintenance in April 2020.

The Castlelake Group acquired 90% in June 2021. All permits remain active. The project is ready to restart with the right capital partner.

To responsibly explore and develop mining opportunities that deliver maximum value to all stakeholders — investors, Namibian communities, and the workforce.

Every decision is governed by JORC compliance, environmental responsibility, and the STRIVE values: Safety, Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Valor, Excellence.

A mining company that unleashes maximum long-term value from Namibia's Namib region mineral resources — creating wealth that flows broadly across all stakeholders from the outset.

A 5% Community Empowerment Trust and 5% Employee Benefit Trust are built into the ownership structure, not added after the fact.

How We Complete Work

01
Geological Exploration
Geophysical surveys, drilling programmes, and JORC-compliant resource estimation define the ore body and mine parameters.
02
Mine Design & Planning
Deswik mine planning software optimises the extraction sequence, infrastructure layout, and production scheduling.
03
Mining & Processing
Sublevel retreat open stope extraction feeds the flotation plant to produce separate high-grade zinc and lead/silver concentrate streams.
04
Export & Delivery
Concentrate transported 75 km to Walvis Bay deep-water port for export to preferred international smelters.
