Two companies, one business. Hope and Gorob holds a 90% interest in Tsoaxaub Metals, so the mine does not sell its ore to an unrelated plant. It feeds a plant it owns.

Hope and Gorob

A permitted copper-gold mine in the Matchless Belt. Mining Licence ML246 to 2040, a JORC resource of 15 Mt at 1.2% Cu, and an 11-year mine plan. Ground was broken on 24 June 2026.

Why It Works

Most Projects Build a Plant.
This One Bought One.

That single decision removed the longest lead item in mine development, cut at least two years off the timeline, and eliminated a plant's worth of capital expenditure.

The plant near Swakopmund already exists, and it already ran at commercial scale. Hope and Gorob acquired 90% of it and is repurposing the flotation circuit for copper and gold. The mine does not sell its ore to someone else. It feeds a plant it owns.

Hope & Gorob

Ore is extracted from the open pit and, in later years, underground, at a 500 ktpa mining and sorting operation.

Dry Ore Sorting

Multi-sensor sorting upgrades grade at the mine and rejects waste before it moves. Less hauled, far less water used.

190 km Haul

Only the valuable fraction travels to the Tsoaxaub Metals plant near Swakopmund for flotation.

Walvis Bay

Flotation produces a saleable copper-gold concentrate, exported through the Walvis Bay deepwater terminal.

A 10% Namibian participation stake is structural, not cosmetic, and was carried through the change of ownership exactly as it was built in at inception.
